Gragnani, Filippo ( 1768-1820 Italy)
Filippo Gragniani was born in Livorno, Italy, the 3rd of September, in 1768. He was a composer and guitarist. There is very little information about his carreer as a performer, but as for his compositions, it is known that he published some of his works in Italy, at the beginning of the 19th century. He travelled in Germany and then in Paris, where he became friends with Ferdinando Carulli. He published some of his works there, too.
It is believed that he died in 1820, at the age of 59, but the exact place of his death is not historically clear.
